Jared Alford

Jared Grant Alford, 44, of Culloden, WV formerly of Hurricane passed away on February 21, 2026.

Preceding him in death was his father Fredrick Leroy Alford, maternal grandparents Mansel and Alma Faulkner Grant, and paternal Leroy and Mahulda Vance Alford.

Survivors include his mother and step father Patricia Grant Alford Kitsmiller and Harry Steven Kitsmiller of Mulberry, Florida; Sister Emily Alford (Michael Taylor) of Red House, WV; Step sisters, Heidi Ritenour (Nick) and their children of Rocky River, Ohio and Emily Reilly (Tyler) and their children of Weatherford, TX; His children, Jackson Grant Alford of South Charleston, WV, and Lydia Marie Alford of Hurricane, WV; Special nephews, Lucas Wade (Rachel) of Washington, NC and Levi Wade of Red House, WV;, bonus daughter Alexis Waggoner (Tony Bull) and grandson Tobis William Bull, several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins and special friends, Anthony Handley and Tana Ross and his two cats Hazy and ChiChi.

Per his request he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 2, 2026 at Allen Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Vance officiating. Friends may visit from 10 til 11 prior to the service.
