Ahnna Brooke White

Ahnna Brooke, began her journey Oct 18, 1998

Born with bright eyes full of wonder.  Ahnna lived her life like a wildflower. Boldly, unapologetic, showing up in unexpected ways - beautifully and entirely like herself. She learned early on to love deeply first with her mother, siblings, cousins, and grandparents then as a mother of her own with, Drexil, Salem and Canaan. She was so proud of her role as a mother. There was no doubt the love she had for each child.

Ahnna did not follow a narrow path; she wandered. She found beauty in things that most of us overlook. She took time to admire the preying mantis as it creepily crawled up her hand. She had an unmeasurable ability to find four-leaf clovers. She found peace in the sunshine and in open air, sometimes by the creek where she looked for unique stones and trinkets.

Ahnna loved fiercely, imperfectly, and honestly. She had an undeniable protective personality, especially over her siblings. She was not one to cower from what she felt was right.

She loved expressing herself and marking her journey on her skin as moments or stories to be told forever. Her piercings were also an expression of herself and demonstration that pain can become beauty.  She was beautiful and she was noticeably confident in her beauty. She once said she felt beautiful with or without hair, and she really did shave her head. Ahnna expressed herself outwardly with multiple colors of hair and even the bright blue or neon green she could make it look great because it was uniquely her! And we loved Ahnna for that.

Ahnna taught us that it is ok to be different. She rooted for the misunderstood. She was magical. She made light of heavy situations. She had an amazing smile and a contagious laugh. Around Ahnna, you never felt judged nor did you ever have to guess what she was thinking.

Ahnna was an amazing human who was very loved and who loved others deeply.

As of Feb 12, 2026, Ahnna took her last breath. She is at rest.

As we honor her and remember her for being uniquely herself, let us remember that grand gestures are not needed to appreciate beauty. Ahnna will remain with us as we choose to pause for a sunset, let the sunshine warm your face, touch the earth with bare hands, listen to a song all the way through. Love loudly.

We love you Ahnna and though your wandering spirit has left us, you have left an unmatchable energy here on Earth. Your children carry your spirit in their laughter, your curiosity in their eyes, your wildness in their courage. Through them, your story will continue.
